7 months & riding

The only way my mom and chris will let me still ride is if one of them is out there with me...i think it's more like supervising, and keeping me from doing anything but walking in a circle. they must be nervous that I'd do something like take my old fart over some tiny jumps, just to make sure we could still do it ;) hehehe
I'd like to state for the record, that even though I look huge in this picture, I was still able to get my legs up that high, and pull my big prego butt into the saddle. It was very fun, and my hubby will tell you that it was a much more enjoyable ride for me than for him... Peppa thought it would be fun to try and bite Buddy's rear the entire walk. LOL I found it hilarious, however Chris did not. Can't wait til our lil person is here and I can ride around the arena with him or her... imagine how nervous that'll make them.

Last hours of our buddy brody, he's been a big part of our lives for the last 5yrs, and today was a sad day! He's brought so much joy and laughter to our daily lives! We will miss the big luvbug tons! XOXO

33 weeks & Monday Night Football

I'd like to say that this picture captures the 1st Monday night football with the baby, but it's just the 1st time we've taken a picture on Monday night during football season. As you can see, well maybe not since it's a side profile, but I'm sportin' our DB football themed shirt! And yes we sit and watch much more football since I've been pregnant, one because i like to put my feet up, but also because this year Chris is participating quite actively in the Dutch Bros Cyber Bowl, as well as the fantasy football league he does every year, but this year it's all about winning the fantasy league and being top 100/beating Rachel at Cyber Bowl. Anyway, all makes for eventful Sunday and Mondays.
Sorry this picture does not display my greasy tummy, but I'm still praying for no stretch marks! I think the baby is Ready For Some FOOTBALL! lol

28 Weeks

Yes, every night we lather my tummy with coconut oil! For someone who doesn't even like using lotion on my body, this was difficult to adjust to, because it's very greasy! I've heard that stretch marks are genetic, and my mom was lucky enough to never have any, even with my giant 10lb 8oz sis. I believe that it's always better to be safe than sorry, so I had to adjust to the lathering of coconut oil, and as of now, I am stretch mark free! xoxo

the list

Chris and I have registered at target and at babies r us. our list should be available online and in stores. I'm told that you can access the list by either using Chris' name or mine. The baby's room will be somewhat of a safari theme, brown, green, and tanish. I'm making the bedding, (well, I with A LOT of help from our moms)so as that progresses I'll post some pictures. I know for some of you it drives ya crazy not knowing whether this baby is a boy or a girl, but we love the surprise and can't wait to tell everyone when our lil one arrives. Only 7 weeks left, we can't wait!!!! Hope you see all of you at the shower! XOXO

Shower time!!!

It's official...the date and time have been set, so mark your calendars! This is a "mixed" shower, which means guys are welcome and encouraged to come. I mean Chris played a roll in this whole baby thing right? So, why shouldn't he and the guys get to join in on the festivities...maybe we'll toilet paper roll his belly instead of Erin's and we can guess how big it is. Ha ha! (Just kidding Chris...we'll save the embarassing shower games for another time.)
